Matt Grise

Matt Grise is a salesperson in the Midwest focused on acquisitions for TPS Group Midwest, LLC. Matt brings with him a wealth of experience and a passion for building strategic relationships. He is responsible for developing and managing key relationships with financial professionals, CPAs, and accountants, generating new business, and ensuring our clients are up-to-date on the latest legislation impacting their retirement plans. He also provides support in the areas of plan design, plan administration, and benchmarking of retirement plan fees.

Matt’s background includes an outstanding 18-year tenure at Nationwide Retirement Plans in Columbus, Ohio, within their Operations Department. He successfully managed over 150 TPA relationships in the Northeast, including ours, and led the service teams responsible for servicing the TPAs, Financial Advisors, and over 5,000 plan sponsors. During his time at Nationwide, Matt's service teams were recognized by DALBAR for delivering exceptional customer service year after year.

In 2021, Matt accepted a position managing two private TPA acquisitions in New England for FuturePlan, an Ascensus Company. In this role, Matt’s staff managed the annual compliance work and daily administrative functions for over 900 plans. He successfully transitioned both offices into streamlined functional processes within a remote environment. Matt and his team managed all aspects of the TPA business from plan implementation, plan compliance, daily servicing, billing, and more.

Matt understands that every customer is unique and deserves tailored solutions. With a focus on quality over quantity, he ensures that each client's specific needs are met with the utmost care and attention. As Matt stated, "I'm excited to bring the same great care and customer service that has been delivered by The Pension Service, Inc since 1964, here to the Midwest.
